Non-Hormonal Birth Control Study - Now Enrolling
Who can participate? Healthy women (ages 18 - 40) who are interested in non-hormonal birth control.
What is the purpose of the study? While there are many types of contraception currently available, there remains a high interest in a monthly option with a lower hormone dose than the oral birth control pill. In this study, doctors are evaluating a monthly, non-hormonal intravaginal contraceptive.
How long does the study last? Participants will use the contraceptive for about 1 year. During this time you will meet with your study doctor periodically to evaluate your results and discuss your overall experiences.
Where? The study is being conducted at select centers throughout the U.S.
Is there any cost to me? No, if you qualify and choose to join the study you will receive the contraceptive product and all study-related care at no cost.
Will I be compensated for my participation? Yes, participants will be compensated for their time and travel to attend periodic study visits (about 8 visits over a 13-month period). Your local study site can discuss compensation in further detail.
